Surrounded by pristine nature
Only a shot away from the Krka River lies the Domačija Javornik. Not only does the Domačija offer an exceptional gastronomy offer, featuring fresh trout, but it also offers the possibility of catching fish, taking a walk on the wooden bridge over the Krka river or simply enjoying nature. The restaurant can host smaller events with up to 50 participants. The place is run by owner and chef Barbara Kotar Javornik, who creates recognisable dishes.
The small restaurant sits on a romantic terrace, surrounded by pristine nature and close to the fisherman, who catch the trout in complete silence. Javornik’s restaurant is a 30 minutes drive from Ljubljana.
The restaurant overlooks the peaceful Krka river and offers first-row seats for nature’s zen. Domačija Javornik has been a synonym for extremely tasteful trout for the last years and is a great outdoor venue.
