100 YEARS OF URBAN AND RURAL LIFE

The museum is located in a small hamlet with a church and a few houses between Überlingen and Friedrichshafen with a view over Lake Constance. It is surrounded by meadows with grazing cattle, fields and orchards. The museum buildings resemble a three-sided farmyard and contain a surface area of 10.000 square metres which accommodate the museum itself, the restaurant and event rooms. The inner courtyard contains a beer garden as well as some of the exhibits, and groups of visitors arrive regularly with their classic cars, tractors, motorcycles and cars.

A visit to the Traktormuseum Bodensee followed by a leisurely snack or a three-course meal in the Jägerhof restaurant is always a special experience.

A visit to the AUTO & TRAKTOR MUSEUM is an unforgettable experience for young and old, female and male, big and small, in good weather and in bad weather. All rooms are barrier-free and pleasantly cool in summer. Little guests are offered a tour of the museum with pedal tractors. There are various interactive exhibits in the exhibition for children.

The Automuseum Wolfegg, after the death of Fritz B. Busch, was continued by his daughter Anka Busch. In the autumn of 2016, she decided, due to her age, to continue living her father’s life’s work in the AUTO & TRAKTOR MUSEUM BODENSEE. Most of the exhibition “100 Years of Living in the City” goes back to Fritz B. Busch.
