Organizers of mind-blowing events are once again invited to enter the competition that will acknowledge the best in the event business, Conventa Best Event Award. The award has become an integral part of the Conventa Crossover conference, which will be taking place in its 5th edition from 26 to 28 August 2020 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

In 2019, Conventa Best Event Award saw a record number of entries, but more importantly, the quality of applying events was raised to another level. The very best agencies of New Europe entered their events into the competition to win in the B2B, B2C and the CROSSOVER category. The B2B category award was accredited to the Italian AIM Group International with the IBA Welcome Party, the Slovak Creative Pro agency convinced the jury with its Run For The Oceans event, winning in the B2C category, and the Slovenian group Jezeršek Gostinstvo d.o.o. received the award in the crossover category with the exceptional European Food Summit.

Without competition, the industry cannot progress. Registering your event for the Conventa Best Event Award is an excellent way to showcase what the industry is capable of and a great opportunity to learn from mistakes and see what other people are doing. It’s also a great platform to tell your event’s story to an audience of over 150 international experts in marketing and event planning that attend Conventa Crossover every year.

IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES

CONVENTA TRADE SHOW – 21-23 January 2020
At Conventa Trade Show, the leading regional B2B event, we are preparing something special. The Adriatic Event Club, connecting the most creative agencies and event planners from the Adriatic region, will be hosting its first meeting. During the meeting, you will get to find out more about the best projects that competed for the Conventa Best Event Award.

SUBMISSION – 15 July 2020
The deadline for applying with your event and submitting all the materials is 15 July 2020. To make sure the quality of your application is as high as possible, we have decided to open the registrations earlier this year, so you have enough time to prepare. JURY EVALUATION – 16 August 2020
All submitted entries will be evaluated by a jury consisting of international experts from the field of event organisation. The jury will initially define a shortlist of events which will be announced on 16th August 2020.

SHOWTIME – 26-28 August 2020
The 5th edition of Conventa Crossover, the festival of events and live marketing will be dedicated to the best events of the region. On 27th August, live voting by the participants of Crossover will be taking place and on the 28th of August, the winners will be announced.
