The Smart Industry Fair is the biggest high-tech fair in Slovenia, organized at GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre every year since 2018. Between February 11 – 13, 2020 four different high-tech fairs, namely IFAM, Intronika, Robotics and ICT4Industry took place under the umbrella of the Smart Industry Fair.
The B2B fair is annually organized by ICM, an international professional event organizer, and it integrates four highly important high-tech economic segments. This year, in cooperation with Institute Jožef Stefan, the leading Slovenian scientific research institute of natural science and technology, the event was enriched with a special, day-long seminar on artificial intelligence – Artificial Intelligence for industry and society, which will become a staple at the future Smart Industry Fairs.
The four professional events run parallelly during the three-day event and display the most technologically advanced products, services and solutions for the high-tech industry. IFAM is a unique B2B fair in the field of automation, mechatronics, sensor technologies, measuring technologies, and computer vision in Slovenia and the CEE region. Intronika Slovenia is an annual international trade fair for industrial and professional electronics, components and equipment. Robotics is an international trade fair dedicated to industrial robotics and unmanned systems. And the ICT4Industry is a B2B trade fair dedicated to the digitalization of industry and business systems.
The exhibition floor of GR was occupied by 84 local and international exhibitors from 9 countries. Additionally, a varied program of lectures, workshops, round tables and presentations took place in the Ojstrica and Šipka halls, with speakers from various aspects of the industry explaining and discussing ground-breaking technologies and processes.
