Anti-Aging & Aesthetics Congress Zagreb, organised by the Croatian Society for Aesthetic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology at the Hilton Garden Inn from the 28th to the 30th of May 2020, is the most sought-after meeting of aesthetic medicine professionals in 2020. The idea of a three-day educational conference for industry professionals has been advanced by Professor Davor Mijatović, MD, Ph.D., Chairman of the Croatian Society for Aesthetic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology, a plastic reconstructive surgery specialist and a national trainer for reconstruction and aesthetic surgery of the breast, and Dr Mladen Duduković, MD, Ph.D., a surgeon specialising in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. This will be the first congress of its kind in Croatia, developed in cooperation with the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb and professionally organised by Penta, one of the most successful PCO/DMCs in the Croatian MICE industry.

Leading international and Croatian professionals will discuss recent advances in aesthetic medicine

Multidisciplinary content with presentations and workshops will include the most recent clinical information covering all aspects of aesthetic medicine, including the live application of dermal fillers. The proceedings will also include interactive panel discussions with participation by medical experts and opinion makers from Croatia and the wider region. Some of the key topics announced for the congress programmes cover surgical rejuvenation procedures with fillers and Botox, mesotherapy, laser procedures, breast, nose and facial surgery, and surgical body sculpting. Even though the full list of presentations has not been announced yet, the names of some keynote speakers announced by the organisers look very promising and intriguing.

One of the world’s leading experts and surgeons to speak at the congress is professor and researcher Federico Mayo Martin, Spanish professor and researcher whose reputation led him to perform surgery all over the world. Dr Angelo Cuzalina, a plastic surgeon from the USA, has performed over 17,000 surgical procedures. Dr Nabila Azib, one of Europe’s most distinguished surgeons specialising in plastic, reconstruction and aesthetic surgery, has also confirmed her participation in the congress. The local expertise will be represented by some of the best known Croatian medical professionals, including Professor Mislav Gjurić, Ph.D., specialist for ear, nose and throat surgery, maxillofacial surgeons Dr Zoran Žgaljardić, Ph.D. and Chief Physician Dr Siniša Glumičić, Dr Nikola Milojević and others.
