We are aware that the world of events is going through a very difficult time due to the health emergency caused by the current outbreak of coronavirus. However, we are equally convinced that the responsiveness of the entire event industry, and the innovation and flexibility that have always distinguished it, will be the best allies to overcome this delicate moment.
COVID-19 is undoubtedly an unprecedented global challenge. We are at the beginning of a new phase that will obviously require a total rethink, not only in the way of doing events but also of the business and its intrinsic relationships. Procedures are already in place to make events safer in terms of sanitation, and other solutions are being studied to bring innovation to the live communication market.
The event industry supports an important part of the world economy, in terms of employment and also with regards to the GDP of individual countries. So let’s stand united and interact with the competent authorities in order to find solutions that do have a decisive impact not only on our sector but also on all the sociocultural activities of our communities as a whole.
