COVID-FREE is the first independent and collaborative health security label dedicated to the business and leisure tourism sector and to all establishments open to the public. It is the only label directly involving customers in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 by giving the possibility to report any failure in the application of its health commitments to the labelled establishment, open to the public.
The idea behind its foundation is the recovery of the tourism sector, COVID-FREE makes security a common priority for the tourism professionals, the public while on holidays or even the “MICE” market.
COVID-FREE, HOW DOES IT WORK?
“Let’s fight together against the spread of COVID-19” driven by this idea, COVID-FREE mobilizes the general audience and the tourism professionals in the fight against the spread of the current pandemic. Once validated by COVID-FREE, it is up to the customers to attest to the good performance of the health quality charter involving both the behavior of customers, those of the establishment’s professional and its suppliers, as well as its organizational commitments.
Using a QR code, COVID-FREE offers the possibility of reporting a breach in the implementation of the commitments charter. The messages sent via this alert system are confidential, they are only delivered to the health referent of each company and to the COVID-FREE teams. The goal is to improve all measures to stop the spread of the virus and its transmission and to guarantee security and serenity for all.
A RIGOROUS HEALTH AUDIT
The COVID-FREE label is issued following an audit based on a rigorous analysis procedure developed by a committee of experts – doctors, pharmacists, lawyers, hotels managers, tourist sites – in compliance with the recommendations of the deputies during the debates last May. The analysis criteria are constantly evolving to always reflect the latest knowledge about the virus and its spread, these criteria are communicated to customers, suppliers and employees.
