Project “Make Yourself at Home in Prague” to support the restart of Prague tourism was unanimously approved this week by the City Council. The aim of the project is to support tourism in the capital and make the stay of visitors more attractive. A benefit point system will be used for this purpose, which will enable visitors to use points for free admission to the participating attraction (museum, gallery etc.).

For each night spent in an accommodation facility, the guest will be entitled to 2 points, which can be converted into free admission. The maximum number of nights is set to 4, ie 8 points / stay / person. The time to use the points is limited by the time of the guest’s stay (maximum 8 days).

The project will be open for registration to all Prague accommodation facilities fulfilling the characteristics set by the Czech Statistical Office methodologies. From July 1 until September 30, 2020, the vouchers will be issued to guests from all countries as they check-in. Participating attractions will accept vouchers within the same dates.

On June 22, 2020, a local campaign will be launched including the website www.vprazejakodoma.cz with a list of registered distributors and participating attractions. The campaign in neighbouring countries is under preparation.
