Bring your event to the Roman city of Carnuntum, which is only half an hour’s drive away from Vienna. Celebrate major events, weddings or business events in the reconstructed buildings or in one of the two amphitheatres. Let yourself be enchanted by the flair of ancient Rome and immerse yourself in a long-forgotten world. The 1,000 m² large garden invites you to take a breather and linger while the beautiful landscape makes you dream. The amphitheatre was built of stone in the 2nd century AD, complete with tiered seating that accommodated crowds of up to 8,000 people. Given its location right by the legionary fortress, it was certainly also used for drills and riding exercises.
In Carnuntum, the Roman era is not distant past, but a present that can be experienced with all senses. For this purpose, part of a Roman City was re-built at the original location, a worldwide unique experience. A total of 3,000 people fit into the Roman city of Carnuntum, 40 into the Villa Urban and 100 into the seminar room. Up to 80 people can relax and unwind in the thermal baths belonging to the Roman city. All areas are equipped with the latest seminar technology, a beamer, screens and fast Internet.
