Creating close digital proximity, is that even possible?

Developments in the world of hybrid events are progressing rapidly, new formats are emerging, new communication channels are being created, the way we interact is shifting and outreach potential is ever-increasing. Innovation is necessary – and a great opportunity at the same time – and Tirol is right in the thick of it.

No matter whether in virtual or physical form – the Convention Bureau Tirol team looks forward to welcoming you soon in Tirol and supports you free of charge with information, ideas and the right contacts on your way to winning the summit!

The Tirolean Alpbach Valley as a home for hybrid events

Congress Centrum Alpbach offers a “hymat” (home) for thinkers and visionaries and, working in cooperation with the Ganslhaut company, is taking another giant leap down the road of sustainability. European Forum Alpbach is a leading example with its first hybrid event on the topic of “fundamentals”.

Hybrid Convention NOW

Training format of tomorrow, competence platform of the future. Large-scale on-site events are currently not permitted. Convention Group offers not only pharmaceutical companies the virtual meeting communication of the future, in the form of Hybrid Conventions.

Strong partners for conferences and seminars with hygiene regulations

The first exclusive virtual Kufsteinerland MICE region “Famtrip” took place at the end of June, in cooperation with Convention Bureau Tirol. Experts agree that the Corona pandemic will not only change business travel habits, but also heavily impact the MICE industry. In this respect, Kufstein Convention Bureau has come up with something very special: at the end of June, a digital “famtrip” was held for the first time in cooperation with Convention Bureau Tirol, so that event planners could find out about the many possibilities offered by the Kufstein region from the comfort of their desks.

Stefan Pühringer, Managing Director of the Kufsteinerland Tourist Board also sees opportunity in these changed conditions: “The experiences of the last few months have made people rethink in a positive sense. Things that once seemed impossible are no longer a problem. We have the best conditions here in Kufsteinerland to hold meetings and events outside the usual “four walls”. Why not put the round table on an alpine meadow and, thanks to powerful LTE, place colleagues from the USA virtually at it?” He adds: “We are grateful that our partner companies have embraced this new concept and recognised that creative and unusual approaches paired with high Host qualities will make the decisive competitive difference in the future”.

Kufstein Convention Bureau supports event planners in organising hybrid meetings thanks to powerful technology partners and competent service providers. The combination of a city, surrounded by charming villages and the nearby Kaisergebirge Nature Reserve makes Kufsteinerland a perfect and safe place for meetings and events, especially in these uncertain times. Tobias Heckenbichler from To-Be.Media, a long-time Kufstein Convention Bureau partner, is well aware of the prerequisites for successful hybrid meetings: “A self-explanatory system and a perfectly functioning live stream for online meetings, where all participants can be easily understood and seen, is particularly important”.
