HELPING PROMOTE CROATIA’S MICE OFFER AFTER COVID-19
MEETEX, one of the first Croatian meetings industry trade shows, started its life in 2019 when the first edition took place in Zagreb, Croatia. The event is organised by the Croatian Meeting Professionals Association (CMPA). The organizing team of MEETEX used the pandemic as an opportunity to develop a new event concept for 2021.
MEETEX 2021 will take place both online and live.
The first part of the trade show “MEETEX 2021 Working Week”, will include online meetings between exhibitors and hosted buyers, taking place from 15 to 19 March 2021. Additionally, the organisers are preparing an interesting programme between meeting slots intended for education, experience sharing and networking. This includes several interesting presentations, inspiring promotional films, a panel session, daily Q&A sessions and a virtual walk-through of the exhibitors.
The second part of the event “MEETEX 2021 Live Experience” is planned to take place at the beginning of September 2021. That’s when hosted buyers will have the opportunity to personally experience the Croatian congress offer through several smaller fam trips in the most important congress destinations. The online meetings in March 2021 will allow exhibitors to make a selection of hosted buyers before-hand and choose who they would like to see visit their destination. The organisers plan on hosting around 60 carefully selected foreign hosted buyers and the same number of exhibitors.
