A thriving new social hub has opened in the centre of Prague. The Marriott Hotel’s Artisan Bar has just launched, welcoming guests to a unique atmosphere incorporating signature cocktails made with local ingredients, a boutique wine range, artisanal hand-crafted bar food, and live music.

Prague Marriott Hotel’s The Artisan Bar, open daily from 17:00-22:00*, focuses on the use of locally-sourced Czech products, homemade ingredients and seasonal specials.

To heighten the Czech atmosphere, The Artisan Bar offers four “Tribute” cocktails named after the country’s most beloved composers. Dvořák, Smetana, Janáček and Suk are honoured with premium drinks inspired by their lives and musical styles.

The Artisan Bar features more than just great cocktails. Live music takes place in the bar every Wednesday and Thursday, meaning locals and international guests have a new, sophisticated venue for midweek entertainment. And rounding off the Czech inspiration is the bar food: simple Czech favourites, based on current casual dining trends, all made from local ingredients.

You can also taste chosen specialities at the newly launched concept of Sunday Family Roasts at The Artisan restaurant. Every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm, you are welcome to join the roast and enjoy many delicious courses, served directly to your table. Every week, the selection of meals is a bit different, so you can discover something new and exciting. Still, you can always look forward to specialities from our Josper grill – local beef and pork from the Naše Maso butchery and freshwater fishes from Kalendova Chabrybárna – a variety of cheeses from Mlékárna Krasolesí, welcome drink and amouse-bouche to start and much more. Plus, you can always enjoy live music and a raffle with attractive prizes, as well as individual entertainment for kids.

COVID-19 operational adjustments for the safety of guests include the placement of hand sanitizers at the entrance and inside the restaurant and bar, tables kept a minimum of 1.5m apart, masks for all service staff, rigorous hand washing and disinfection procedures, and the active promotion of contactless payment.
