One of the largest and most esteemed conferences on health tourism in the region
In its eighth edition, the Crikvenica International Health Tourism Conference will take place between the 12 and 13 November. This will be the first virtual edition of the conference in English.
A healthy person has a thousand wishes, while a sick one has only one! According to predictions, the first branch of tourism to recover and restart is going to be health tourism. With that in mind, the largest regional conference on health tourism CIHT (Crikvenica International Health Tourism Conference 2020) will delve into relevant topics.
The organisers of this prominent conference are the Crikvenica Tourist Board and the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster. Alongside the two main organisers, the already traditional co-organisers are the Special Hospital for medical rehabilitation Thalassotherapia Crikvenica and the Polyclinic Terme Selce. The conference will host esteemed world experts from the health care sector, tourism, marketing and education sector. The conference will be available exclusively on the digital platform, designed particularly for this event. The app CIHT Conference will be available to download for IOS and Android.
The director of the Crikvenica Tourist Board, Marijana Biondić, the founder and main driving force behind the CIHT Conference, commented that she is extremely satisfied and proud of the team to make the conference in such unpredictable and unusual circumstances. She also thanked the sponsors of the conference, namely the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, the Health Ministry, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the Crikvenica Tourist Board, The Croatian Chamber of Economy and the town of Crikvenica, as well as partners of the event: Sensa Magazine, Zagreb City Hotels, LifeClass Terme Sveti Martin, Jadran d.d. Crikvenica and several others, without whom this year’s CIHT conference would not be possible.
