On October 1, Patric Weiler, MBA, joined the Proske agency as Director of Strategy & Innovation. Proske is recognized worldwide as a specialist for Strategic Meeting Management Programs (SMMP). The launch of the Virtual Venue platform in spring 2020, which enables meetings and events to take place in a virtual environment in real-time, was a particular highlight for Proske.
Patric Weiler (50) complements the agency’s 80-person team based in Rosenheim, Munich and New York with his expertise in strategic communication and digital transformation. He will manage the company’s quantitative and qualitative growth process together with the management team. Furthermore, he will expand the agency’s consulting competence and portfolio strategy as well as conceptually. Before joining the agency, Patric Weiler was Senior Director Marketing DACH with a focus on AI and Big Data at the Bluefield agency in Munich/Amsterdam.
Since 1996, Patric Weiler has held various positions in the event and communication industry. He started his career in the Operations department at Media! AG. His last position there was Director of Sales, which he held until 2003. Patric Weiler was entrusted with the development of the Berlin branch, quality management and sales management as well as the Concepts & Solutions division. The online marketplace provider eBay was among the first customers.
As CEO and Head of Sales & Marketing at the agency 7th Sense in Munich and Berlin from 2003 to 2011, he developed digital and non-digital communication projects and campaigns for clients such as SAP, Sony Pictures, Mercedes, Siemens, OBI, Gruner & Jahr and the Goethe Institute.
After moving to American Express Global Business Travel in Munich/Frankfurt in 2011, he held various positions in the company, ultimately as Deputy Country Head Meetings & Events and Head of Strategy. In 2017 Patric Weiler moved to the energy sector as Head of Sales & Marketing at PGNiG Supply & Trading, the Western European offshoot of the globally active Eastern European group, where he was responsible for its repositioning.
He has also worked since 2003 as a freelance lecturer for various universities and academies and as a keynote speaker at events and conferences. His main topics are Marketing & Communication, Digital Transformation & Artificial Intelligence, and Leadership & Strategy.
