CROATIAN CASTLE FROM THE 13TH CENTURY
Castle Trakošćan is one of the few preserved Croatia castles, originating from the 13th century. It is a cultural heritage site with the castle, the surrounding park and a small lake. The castle has its own museum, leading the visitor through the history of the castle and its owners. Event organisers will be pleased to know that the castle’s hall and exterior terrace, as well as the castle’s two galleries, can be rented for events.
The immediate surroundings of the castle is a park, the centre of which is the lake. Walking trails around the lake and throughout the park make the entire experience truly remarkable. The venue is a place, where visitors can explore cultural heritage while enjoying pristine nature.
