The new Director of Maribor Tourist Board said: “Maribor is a city with unique character, excellent location and unmatched stories. We pride ourselves on titles such as the European Capital of Culture and the European City of Sport. Maribor is an authentic and welcoming city, however, for us to become one of the best Slovenian tourist destinations, it is crucial to create memorable experiences for our guests and visitors. To create this, we must coordinate our vision with key stakeholders and support our activities by actively engaging the community and fortify Maribor’s position as a tourist brand. I will use my know-how and experience from business and communication to create a unified image of the Maribor Tourist Board as a competent partner in tourism that is trusted by the community. We will use the time of the pandemic to outline goals and strengthen business partnerships.
