An evening among friends – live in your living room!
This year’s BrandEx Awards will be different on all levels, and the countdown to the digital ceremony has already begun. The event will take place on 3 March 2021, the stream for the BrandEx Awards Ceremony is set to start at 6 pm. We extend an invitation to everyone to join this “Evening among friends” that will be broadcast live into the living rooms of our guests. Aljosha Höhn will be the host for the evening.
The awards will honour outstanding live communication projects in five winning clusters: Architecture, Planning Craft Production, Crossmedia, Event, and Formats. There will be live calls with the winners. The stream will also include interviews with the jury and a fireside chat.
In the midst of a pandemic year, the organizers have received 101 submissions for the BrandEx Awards which were rated by a highly skilled jury. 38 laureates will be awarded a prize for the successful projects they conducted in 2020. But unlike in previous years, the trophies of the third BrandEx Awards will not be handed out in the categories Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Instead, all winners will receive a white BrandEx Special Award.
As another special treat at the “Evening among friends”, we will present the current Best of Best List – or BoB: a qualitative ranking across all award years that is based on jury votes from previous years. All nominees will be included in this ranking. “BoB”, as a “List of All-Time Bests” will later be published on the BrandEx website and updated every year.
While the circumstances require the ceremony in March to happen online, there is hope for a relaunch of offline live events three months from now. The BrandEx hosts are hoping to welcome all participants and guests at the BOE Red, which will take place from 9 – 10 June 2021 at the Dortmund exhibition centre.
