We are trailblazers. Tallinn is home to the first convention bureau in the Baltic countries. Tallinn Convention Bureau was created in the year 2000, as part of the Tourism department of Tallinn. Throughout the last 20 years, we have helped develop Tallinn into a vibrant, innovative and inviting conference and event destination.

We see the potential of our past. This is made evident in how numerous old spaces in Tallinn have been transformed into contemporary and unique event venues. Tallinn Creative Hub – an old power station and Noblessner Foundry – part of an old submarine factory, are just some examples of how we have reused the remnants of the past to create unforgettable venues.

We are not afraid to think big. Even though we don’t have a giant exhibition hall, we can be very creative with the varied selection of venues available in Tallinn, this is why it was no problem hosting the over 4000 delegates of the JCI world congress in 2019. With events taking place in multiple locations, the entire city became an event venue.

We always stay current and creative. We adapted fast to changing conditions – by now, professional event organisers in Tallinn can set up a virtual event practically anywhere, but Tallinn has also become home to some of the most technically advanced virtual event studios in Europe. These studios have managed to combine the use of high-end technology with an aptness for preserving the aesthetics of the venue, creating unique, beautiful environments that can host even the most technically demanding events.

We make things happen. Even when it’s difficult, we work hard to achieve what might seem impossible. In 2020, we hosted an impressive number of international hybrid and virtual events, including the Bocuse d’Or European qualifier, The Three Seas conference, and an international congress for Santa Clauses, just to name a few.
