The project scope consists of the refurbishment of public areas including bar and lounge, wine cellar, conference areas, meeting rooms, and a total of 378 accommodation units, including new suites design. The new design introduces a timeless design with a base palette of neutral and light hues. Luxurious touches are inspired by local craft heritage and showcased through joinery and artwork details. A hint of the Mediterranean was introduced by creating four accent palettes inspired by olive trees, zesty citrines, warm shades of peach and apricot, and the cool shades of the deep blue sea.
Event organisers can take advantage of approximately 5,000 square metres of total conference/event space, including pillar-less grand ballroom (can be divided into two meeting rooms) with natural light equaling 768 square metres. In total, Le Meridien Lav Split offers 14 meetings/event rooms located on two conference floors. The renovated conference facilities include computer rental, simultaneous translation system, state-of-the-art audio and video equipment and high-speed Internet Access.
Arnoud Zaalberg, the general director of Le Meridien Lav Split, said: “I am proud of the fact that regardless of the challenging past and ongoing year, we are staying true to our business and investment plan. We have used the “quiet Covid period” for the first stage of renovation. Congress tourism is among the key activities of our hotel. Therefore, special attention is given to the modernisation of the congress and meeting halls. On top of that, three new halls have been constructed, giving Le Meridien Lav Split both quality and capacity.”
