Image Audiovisuals, the preferred on-site audiovisual provider at the Colorado Convention Center, today unveiled its new virtual platform custom-built to mirror the Colorado Convention Center for use in hybrid and virtual events. Through its virtual services company eAttend Global, ImageAV designed an immersive experience for the convention center to complement the city’s solution for resuming in-person events.

This exclusive platform is the first of its kind for the Denver area. It recreates the look and feel of the Colorado Convention Center, allowing virtual attendees to interact and connect with the venue as though they were attending in-person. Helping the city rapidly adapt to new meeting formats, this unique platform is part of the new revolution in event technologies.

“This is a great tool for Denver to attract conferences and events that are looking for a turnkey and engaging hybrid experience,” says John Adams, General Manager of the Colorado Convention Center. “We’re very eager to meet in-person again and have invested heavily in the necessary steps to provide groups a safe onsite environment. But there’s no denying the limitless possibilities of a hybrid platform to connect in-person and virtual audiences. Having a dedicated virtual platform is a natural progression for enhancing our event offerings.”

While the global pandemic forced most events to be held virtually, the industry took note of the opportunities online events presented, including detailed analytics that give meeting planners new insights to measure engagement and participation. There’s now a long-term business model, and currently an attendee expectation, for events to maintain hybrid participation options.

“I believe we’ll continue to see a demand for high-quality hybrid meetings that connect a worldwide audience in ways we weren’t exploring before,” says Dave Mueller, founder and president of ImageAV. “A customizable platform that mimics the same in-person environment allows venues to be a part of the hybrid solution and remain competitive in the ever-changing event landscape. We look forward to supporting the return of events of all types to Denver.”

The platform features key locations like the expansive lobby, Bellco Theater, and the iconic Blue Bear, and can be customized to reflect the specific branding, sponsors, and exhibitors of each event held at the CCC. It adds to the onsite A/V hybrid capabilities like live streaming, on-demand sessions, and custom virtual sets utilizing chromakey technologies.
