FISHING AND CATERING SERVICES
Hotel Draga di Lovrana is a small family boutique hotel owned by Christian and Sanja Nikolac from Opatija, bought back in 1978 as a ruin with the idea of turning it into a hotel and venue for numerous events. Their vision was to create a complete offer that would include both fishing and catering activities while maintaining the image of a boutique event venue. As the venue is known for superb cuisine, visitors can taste the Kvarner terroir, the fish and scampi from the Nikolac family’s own fishing boats and discover the colourful history of Opatija Riviera cuisine by enjoying the unique and theme specialities prepared by chef Deni Srdoč.
The hotel was constructed in 1908 and designed by Anton Urm, an esteemed entrepreneur from Vienna. Sadly, in 1923, historic and personal circumstances caused Urm to set fire on the hotel. Now, the hotel serves as a venue for weddings, events and a great starting point for discovering Opatija and its surroundings.
