EVENTS IN THE EMBRACE OF MIGHTY CASTLE WALLS
On a rocky outcrop protruding from the slope of Mt. Golec above the village of Branik reigns one of Slovenia’s oldest castles. It marks a historically strategic point of passage between the Vipava Valley and the Karst, between the continent and the sea. Its walls store stories of several centuries that shaped the course of history in this part of Europe. In recent decades, the castle has become home to new mysterious inhabitants – bats.
Rihemberk Castle offers a special ambience for events in the embrace of its mighty walls with breathtaking views in the midst of pristine nature.
