Located in Ruše in the Podravje region, Šumik Estate features an authentic experience for meeting planners looking for events in touch with nature. Šumik Estate offers a unique terrace for events and conferences, surrounded by endless forests. After a day of skiing or cycling, event organisers can relax in the garden or the shared lounge area.
The estate was constructed in 1936 as a hunting residence lodge and served as the home of Yugoslav Partisans during WWII. The building came out of the war unscathed, and over 70 years later started to live a new life as a heritage estate reviving old traditions. Six boutique rooms await guests, each carrying its own story. The estate is focused on sustainability, which attendees of an event or conference will be able to experience first-hand by tasting local products.
