Currently, Czech and foreign tourists can choose from more than 100 destinations, including charter flights, operated by over 35 airlines. During July 2021, direct flights will also be launched by carriers on new routes to a number of places across Europe. Ryanair is to fly to Modlin Airport in Warsaw, easyJet to launch a new connection to Barcelona, while Wizz Air is to offer flights to Rome and Catania. Smartwings has been flying to Nice on the Côte d’Azur since Thursday.

Throughout the 2021 summer season, passengers should be arriving at the airport allowing enough time for the entire check-in process, i.e., at least three hours prior to the scheduled departure of their flight.

“Czechs’ interest in summer holidays is growing and the trend will continue during the upcoming summer holiday season. However, we recommend passengers to carefully prepare for the departure and observe the currently valid conditions for travel. Carriers, as well as handling companies, must check all relevant documents at check-in, including destination country-specific entry forms and confirmations of vaccination, test or illness recovery, if required by the destination country,” Jaroslav Filip, Director of Prague Airport Aviation Business, said.

It is now possible to travel from Václav Havel Airport Prague, to seek new experiences, to popular holiday destinations, namely to Croatia, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Spain and Italy, alongside Egypt, the Canary Islands and Portugal. Instead of a typical summer holiday stay, tourists can also fly to explore Madeira, Iceland, Israel and Jordan. Long-haul flights to Dubai and Doha, Qatar, will continue to be operated and provide passengers with the option of transfers to further destinations. Routes to a number of important European cities will also remain available to passengers. Travellers from Prague can head to distant exotic destinations, such as the Dominican Republic and the Maldives, directly thanks to the Čedok travel agency holiday packages.
