BOUTIQUE EVENTS WITH A HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Maškovića Han is a Heritage Hotel located in Pakoštane, which has been recently restored. The property includes an archaeological site of an original 17th-century Turkish hammam, as well as a museum. The hotel offers 14 beautifully designed guest rooms and is a perfect venue for boutique events with a historical backdrop. Furthermore, the place has become recognised for organising various events such as conferences, business meetings, awards, exhibitions and banquets. The restaurant can accommodate up to 50 people and space can be tailored to the needs of the client. The spacious outdoor space can capacitate up to 200 guests.
The construction of Mašković Han began in 1644 by the order and funds of Jusuf Mašković, originally from Vrana, a high dignitary on the Sultan’s court and a supreme admiral of the Turkish fleet. Han was intended to be a summer house/residence for Mašković when he returned from Constantinople to his homeland. It was conceived as a luxuriant monumental and modern building that would have all the necessary comforts, including a Turkish bath-hamam.
