THE HIGHEST LIGHTHOUSE IN THE ADRIATIC REGION
The imposing Veli Rat lighthouse is located on the north-western tip of Dugi Otok, near the place Veli Rat, 35 km west of the city of Zadar. It was built in 1849 and is 42 meters high and today it is the highest lighthouse in the Adriatic. The Lighthouse is surrounded by pine trees, beautiful bays and pebble beaches and has one of the most beautiful positions on the Adriatic Coast with a splendid view from the 40 m high lighthouse tower. The venue in Zadar is suitable for unforgettable events next to the crystal-clear sea.

During their stay in Veli Rat, event attendees can visit Kornati National Park and Telascica Nature Park nearby. The starting point for trips to the Kornati is the place of Sali on the other side of Dugi Otok. The lighthouse has always had a lighthouse keeper and there has always been a waiting list since many lighthouse keepers have been dreaming of spending at least some time in this unique lighthouse.
