In 2021, with the ongoing health emergency, the entertainment and live communication industry came to a standstill, leading to the emergence of digital and hybrid event formats in which technological connections replaced physical opportunities for interaction and networking.
Accordingly, the push for a return to normality and traditional mechanisms goes hand in hand with digital contamination and, at the same time, agencies are called upon to be increasingly multitasking and to equip themselves to respond to integrated communication strategies in which the event can only express its effectiveness if supported by content amplification plans.

ADC Group – the event’s organiser – wants to send a strong and positive message to a marketplace that has been severely tested by the current health crisis. One of resilience, resurgence, reassurance, pledging to return to the live formula in 2022.
Never, more than now, has it been necessary to promptly interpret the evolution in progress and communicate the actions undertaken to provide creative solutions: that’s why, when dealing with the ongoing emergency, the upcoming edition of the Bea World Experience Festival will be celebrated online in December 2021, and will include new categories dedicated to hybrid and digital events.

This is how the concept for the 16th edition of the Bea World Experience Festival came to be, as summarized by the claim “Welcome to the new stage”, conceived by the Italian agency Feelrouge, the Events and Brand Experiences business unit of Balich Wonder Studio. Feelrouge will support ADC Group in organising the event from a creative and production point of view.
“Welcome to the new stage is a claim that inspires optimism and heralds a recovery that will enable us to continue working positively. The physical stage is what all of us have missed the most, but, because of the pandemic, we have entered a new playing field, one in which the vision of the ‘Stage’ has evolved and broadened its reach,” said Simona Muti, Creative Director of Feelrouge. “Such concept will be retained, harnessing all of the new experiences and skills gained while working on events held during a time of lockdown restrictions”.
Conceived as a real digital business platform and a meeting point between supply and demand, the 2021 edition will feature a high level of interaction and networking, thanks to technology and digital intelligence successfully tested during the lockdown months. There will also be the chance to consider new rules, structures, and emerging skills, celebrating the creativity and innovations presently redesigning the events and live communication industry, consequently creating new business opportunities.

The Best Partner Awards section will honour Locations, Catering, Digital Platforms, and other services that have successfully introduced innovations and new ways to adapt to changes. Also, for the Best Events Awards, we have introduced a macro category for “New Physical Events”, as well as new categories that recognise the current market scenario: Creative Installation, Integrated Live Project, and Digital Transformation.
So far, the Best Event Awards have helped participating companies from 40 countries to find inspiration and new ideas for their events; no wonder that the award is acknowledged nowadays as the leading and most challenging international industry recognition.
