As regenerative practices evolve worldwide, the GDS Forum will discuss the latest in sustainable practices this October. The event will take place between 15 and 16 October 2024, along with the GDS-Awards, followed by the CityDNA Autumn Conference between 16 and 18 October in Bruges, Flanders, Belgium.

The GDS-Forum uses an “un-conference” model. The programme is dynamic, interactive, and unconventional, without PowerPoint, panel discussions, or long presentations. At the event, attendees and leaders can discuss destination strategy and regeneration. Together, participants will collaborate to transform innovative ideas into actionable initiatives, fostering socio-economic and environmental prosperity in cities and regions.

On Wednesday evening, attendees will convene to recognise destination leadership and innovation in regeneration at the GDS-Awards ceremony hosted at the beautiful Royal Municipal Theatre.

From Thursday to Friday, the CityDNA Autumn Conference promises an enriching array of collaborative sessions, thought-provoking discussions, and groundbreaking approaches. Participants can dive into a diverse lineup of speakers and activities designed to inspire and ignite innovation in sustainable destination management.

More information about the joint events can be found here.

Attendees are also invited to be part of the 2024 GDS-Movement Impact Day, taking place just before the GDS-Forum/CityDNA Autumn Conference on 14 October 2024, also in Bruges.

The 2024 GDS-Movement Impact Day is a pivotal one-day conference aimed at redefining the role of the Business Events sector in driving societal and environmental transformation and regeneration. This independent event is brought to you by VisitFlanders, the GDS-Movement, and #Meet4Impact.
