Conventa Crossover, the centre stage for leading experts in experience marketing and event organisation will be taking place from 26 to 27 August 2021 in hybrid form (LIVE & ONLINE). For the first time, Conventa Trade Show and Conventa Crossover conference will be carried out in the same week, or as the organisers like to call it – Conventa Week starting on 24 August 2021.

New technologies, changing audiences and growing demand for more personalised experiences have disrupted the meetings industry. At the same time, the pandemic has offered us a unique opportunity to re-imagine how events can be organised. The central theme of this year’s Conventa Crossover conference is rather simple – finding out what events will look like AC (After Corona), and what they were like BC (Before Corona).  World-renowned experts will uncover taboos and mysteries connected with the organisation of digital and live events, sharing knowledge on making events better, greener, and more sustainable after the corona crisis.

What is Conventa Crossover all about?

The main goal of Conventa Crossover is exchanging knowledge, ideas and promoting high-quality networking opportunities. This year, the conference will raise awareness about the changes that the pandemic is going to bring and open a healthy conversation around it. There isn’t a better place to learn about the new reality of the meetings industry than at Conventa Crossover. The event is one of the few places where the event industry comes together to find out where the industry is heading through inspiring speakers and out-of-the-box session formats.

Joining the event are event managers, creative heads, marketing experts, experts in event organisation, providers of meetings services, experts from companies, agencies, associations, tourist destinations, hotels, special venues, and everyone else closely related to the event and marketing scene. Attendees will listen to keynote speakers who have successfully transformed their events and are recognized as the pioneers of our new reality. At the same time, the stage will be given to a new generation of young and talented meeting planners and marketers.


Where will the event be taking place?

This year’s event will be taking place in two parts. The first day of Conventa Crossover will be dedicated to Conventa Best Event Award 2021. Presentation of the finalists competing in the competition and live voting by the audience will be taking place at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, the leading event centre in Slovenia, located in the very centre of the capital. On the second day, Conventa Crossover will be moving to a very unique venue – The Švicarija Creative Centre, which operates as part of the International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC). It sits on the site of a former wooden guest house opened back in 1835, located in Ljubljana’s Tivoli Park.
