CONNECTING PEOPLE
After a century, the Smrekar Homestead is powered by its mission – to connect people. The newly renovated barn is designed for guests to enjoy good home lunches and birthday parties, business meetings and promotional events. The bright and cosy rooms of the renovated barn are intended for business meetings, seminars, and workshops. To ensure the attendees enjoy the event, the venue also provides excellent cuisine. One of the signature features of the homestead is the cold cuts and dishes prepared from the organic meat of Slovenian autochthonous cattle.
At Smrekar’s Homestead, guests can also sleep in an apartment that accommodates six or five multi-bed rooms, which were named after former members of the farm. Guests can choose either the Aleksandrov apartment or enjoy Ivanka’s room. Since the estate stays true to tradition, most of the furniture is made of spruce wood, including the reception area and dining room.
