Alexandre Gausson, who has been living in Prague for nearly 20 years and working within the Liberty group for more than 15 years, took over the role in September 2021 to run the Liberty Prague incoming office, established in the Czech Republic in 1991.

Alexandre has taken over from Martina Sedláčková who is now working on a new challenge at the Prague Congress Center. “I would like to personally thank Martina, with whom I’ve worked since my early days at Liberty, for leading and managing Liberty Prague office these last 2 years during this unprecedented crisis to make sure Liberty Prague comes out financially safe and with the secured business for the new year. I am confident she’ll succeed again in her new role at Prague Congress Center and I’m looking forward to the challenge of running Liberty Czech Republic & Slovakia DMC,” says Alexandre.

Liberty Prague incoming office has been providing Destination Management services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for 30 years with a recognized MICE expertise and in-depth knowledge of the destination thanks to its close cooperation with local suppliers and partners and thousands of successful MICE programs with international clients in the fields of Pharmaceuticals, Finance, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Technology and more.

Among its recognitions, Liberty Czech Republic & Slovakia DMC:

– was recently a winner in the three DMC categories of the World MICE Awards 2021: World’s Best MICE Organizer 2021, Europe’s Best MICE Organizer 2021, Czech Republic’s Best MICE Organizer 2021
– has received the international Safe Travels stamp, awarded to Czech Tourism by the World Travel & Tourism Council, making sure that travelling to the Czech Republic is safe
– has been a historical member of the Prague Convention Bureau.

“Since last September, I have endeavoured to update our MICE offer in our two destinations.”

“Our team in Prague devoted these two exceptional years by their nature to strengthening our competitiveness in our destinations and supported our clients in postponing their already confirmed programs thanks to our efforts and the flexibility of our local partners. Since last September, I have endeavoured to update our MICE offer in our two destinations (the Czech Republic and Slovakia), integrating new providers, on new ideas for activities, on tailor-made programs and integrating new trends such as CSR, experiential travel, hybrid meetings and technology while working on contract flexibility, this last point being key to support the fast recovery of our destination,” declares Alexandre Gausson.

“To our foreign clients, I would like to insist that MICE programs in our destination are very much possible as we already welcome back groups, despite the normal concerns and general restrictions. Our role as DMC has become even more important to advise and support our customers and partners as we make sure participants who travel here actually enjoy their stay, with onsite programs running smoothly while respecting current local restrictions,” concludes Alexandre Gausson.
