Mirjam van de Kamp succeeds Desiree Baltussen, who recently made the switch to ICCA. As Director of Conventions, Van de Kamp leads a team of enthusiastic sales managers. She will focus on creating more awareness and interest in the brand-new conference centre for meetings, conferences, corporate events and trade fairs on a national and international level. Together with the team, she is also responsible for recognizing the needs of the clients and guaranteeing an excellent execution.
Rotterdam Ahoy recently went through a major expansion. In addition to the Ahoy Arena and the six Exhibition & Event Halls, the new Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Center (RACC) and the music hall/auditorium RTM Stage opened at the end of 2020. The state-of-the-art conference centre offers the national and international (business) market not only the largest auditorium in the Netherlands but also 35 break-out rooms. The auditorium is also used as a music hall for 7800 people.
