How do circular cities do it?

Circular economy is very much in the spotlight, and rightfully so. Nations and cities worldwide strive to become more sustainable and more responsible with our planet’s limited resources. Between Feb 7 – 12, the Circular Economy Week was hosted in the Netherlands, and events took place across the country.

Circular pioneers are opening their doors to educate and inspire about circularity. The program Rotterdam hosted was an opportunity for entrepreneurs, educational institutions, governments and organisations to connect in creating impact together.

The city of Rotterdam is fully committed to transitioning to a circular economy and a sustainable future. In the city, you will find circular pioneers and icons such as BlueCity and the Floating Farm and special programs and subsidies aimed at stimulating circular innovation. During the Circular Economy Week, multiple activities happened in Rotterdam, online and on location.
