The new St. Regis Belgrade hotel, set to open later this year, will celebrate the rich history and culture of Serbia’s famed ‘White City’ and will occupy the first nine floors of the 40-story Kula Belgrade, a signature tower within the Belgrade Waterfront development.

After Florence and Rome in Italy and Mallorca in Spain, St. Regis has chosen Belgrade to debut its first branded St. Regis Residences in Europe.

The guest experience at The St Regis Belgrade will be enhanced by the addition of a host of luxury amenities, including a panoramic destination restaurant at the top of the tower, an all-day dining restaurant and the St Regis Bar, taking inspiration from the legendary King Cole Bar at The St Regis New York. Travellers will be able to unwind in a spa or pool, work out in a gym or utilise event and meeting space at the hotel, whose interior design is being led by HOK’s London studio.

The Kula will be the highest building in the region, 168 meters tall, overlooking the Sava river and Kalemegdan fortress and featuring a signature restaurant and 360-degree observation deck at the top of the tower with outstanding panoramic views.

The entry hall’s grand stair, carefully curated artwork, embossed metal finishes and elegant furniture will extend a warm welcome to guests and lead them into the hotel’s public areas. Two strong focal points – a grand fireplace and sculptural service counter – define the St. Regis Bar, a beloved signature of the brand. A handcrafted, bespoke textile art piece wraps the walls, telling the story of Belgrade’s rebirth in an abstract, modern style.

In guestrooms, HOK’s design references traditional weaving patterns of Serbian textiles and uses a refined, light palette for colours and materials. By channelling the spirit of legendary Serbian painter Milena Pavlović Barili, the Presidential Suite will delight guests with art and furnishings that evoke an independent, sophisticated style. The St. Regis Belgrade hotel will offer 119 luxury hotel rooms.
