The long-awaited Croatian Ambassador Program has finally been updated, and congressional ambassadors are now actively being sought to provide Croatia with new hosts for international congresses.
Organised by the Croatian Association of Congress Tourism Professionals (HUPKT) and the Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB), a national ambassador program has been launched. The project aims to bring together leading Croatian scientists and dignitaries in international associations and support them to bring more international conferences to Croatia.
The idea of the program is to establish constant communication with the ambassadors and encourage them to attract new events to Croatia. The activities of the program will go in the direction of searching for new ambassadors with specific potential gatherings. For this purpose, a CRM system has been established through which the implementation of the program and communication with ambassadors will be systematically monitored. “Our goal in this first year is to develop a system for promoting, so we expect an increase in the number of ambassadors through proactive research,” said Pavlovic.
Who can become a congress ambassador?
To obtain the HKA title, a person must be a prominent expert in their field, with internationally recognised experience and influence in the international community. The ambassadors must have well-developed personal communication skills, reputation, significant research results and international recognition.
