The Prague Congress Centre (PCC) is reinforcing its top management team with two new directors. The key strategic position of the PCC Sales and Marketing Director is newly held by Roman Sovják, who has over 25 years of experience in the tourism and meetings industry. Kamil Zlomek has become the new CEO of the Holiday Inn Prague Congress Centre, who also comes to the PCC with 20 years of experience in managing international hotels in the Czech Republic and abroad. Among other things, both top managers will be fully engaged in the implementation of activities related to the Czech EU Presidency.
Roman Sovják comes to the PCC after nine years of managing the Czech branch of the international Superbrands organization, which provides marketing surveys, events focused on brands and above all a renowned global brands ranking. Prior to that, he managed business activities at companies such as Lobkowicz Events Management and Augustine Hotel. The core responsibility of Roman Sovják at the head of the PCC Sales and Marketing Department will be to restart business meetings as a key source of income after a two-year outage caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Kamil Zlomek, the new CEO of the Holiday Inn Hotel, which also belongs to the PCC, has recently been involved in the management of Hotel International Praha, he previously spent many years in various managerial positions in the OREA and Marriott hotel chains in the Czech Republic and abroad. The greatest challenge awaiting him too is the restoration of full hotel and gastronomic services operation for the meetings industry and corporate clientele, which is absolutely essential for the Holiday Inn congress hotel.
