Attended by over 1,000 participants
The 34th Czech and Slovak Neurological Congress was organised by Guarant International in Olomouc. After two years of pause, it was one of the largest in terms of the number of participants. The congress was originally planned for 2020, but due to the bad pandemic situation, there were two changes to the deadline. The last was the cancellation of the ČSNS congress in November 2021, less than a week before the event.
The event was held for the third time, so the congress was held from March 29 to 31 in hybrid form. The physical part took place in the Clarion Congress Hotel Olomouc, the virtual environment was provided to the participants by the gCon platform.
The three-day program was full of professional and social aspects. Participants addressed the topics of Stroke, Epilepsy, Spinal Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, Sleep Disorders, and more. In addition to professional lectures, satellite symposia of partners took place and the first day was devoted to professional training.
The Congress was a remarkable success after a long hiatus and exceeded the originally expected turnout. A total of 998 people (of which 169 partners and exhibitors) physically participated and 60 participants participated virtually.
