Quite a few centrally located hotels in Tallinn have recently been renewed or renovated. Read below to find out what’s happening in Tallinn’s hotel scene.

Radisson Collection Tallinn

The first Radisson Collection hotel in the Baltics opened in Tallinn in May 2022. Formerly named Radisson Blu Sky, the building went through extensive renovations for nearly two years. The hotel features 289 rooms and suites with city views. There is also a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant and bar on the rooftop, as well as a restaurant serving Estonian cuisine on the first floor. Radisson Collection is located at the very heart of Tallinn and features a nearly 1,000 sqm conference centre on its second floor.

Go Hotel Shnelli

Located between the historical Old Town and the bohemian Kalamaja district, Go Hotel Shnelli recently finished a complete renovation of its rooms. In total 124 standard and superior rooms as well as 2 family rooms were renovated in the hotel.

In 2021, the hotel placed solar panels on its roof. The investment in renewable energy is part of a new, more sustainable business model.

Latvian hotel group Mogotel expands to Tallinn

Between 2021 and spring 2022, Latvian-based hotel group Mogotel acquired four hotels in Tallinn, which have now moved under various brands owned by the company. The former Vana-Viru hotel in Tallinn’s Old Town is now Rixwell Viru Square hotel. The five-star Savoy Boutique hotel is now also under the Rixwell brand. In addition, the group owns Rija Old Town Hotel and Rija Fonnental Design Hotel in Tallinn.
