GL events, a global player in event organization and venue management, operating over 53 Convention and Exhibition Centres globally, introduces a new global solution “Galaxy” and its brand new venues within its network in Europe, Chile and Brazil.
A NEW GLOBAL SOLUTION
During IMEX Frankfurt, GL events Venues team will present, at its booth, Galaxy, its new global solution dedicated to multiple events’ organisers. This partnership solution commits the venues managed by GL events to implementing a range of services related to quality, safety & security, new technologies and commercial flexibility, making sure it’s always in line with the client’s expectations.
According to Michiel Middendorf, GL events Venues MICE Sales Director: ”The pandemic has brought our clients and our venues much closer. This crisis has taught us to listen closely to each other needs and to have a better mutual understanding.” And thus, a new model of the partnership must be established between clients and venues, it is a new business relationship.
New event complex in São Paulo
Anhembi is the historic event complex of São Paulo. Taken over as it is by GL events in January 2022, and now called “Anhembi District”, it will benefit from a major modernisation and expansion project over the next years.
GL events group will undertake the renovation of the exhibition halls and the construction of São Paulo’s first new-generation international congress centre and a new state-of-art 20,000 seat arena in partnership with Live Nation and Oak View Group. This future large event and cultural complex of 400,000 sqm will be inaugurated in 2024. The objective of this vast renovation project is to restore Anhembi historic site’s standing as a major event venue in Latin America.
NEXT VENUES OPENINGS
GL events continues to expand its network globally. In June, two new venues will complete the offer of convention & exhibition centres.
