As the meetings industry enters a new era after the pandemic – one in which the landscape of work and business has changed – WEC San Francisco seeks to create an experience where meeting and event professionals can ground themselves in the latest learnings and anticipate what changes lie ahead for the industry.
WEC San Francisco will feature a variety of session formats that invite participants to share their knowledge and expertise with each other, apply learnings from experts and leaders, foster greater connections and imagine a world of community rather than division. Participants will be invited to contribute to the growth of our industry in new and exciting ways, while also challenging themselves to grow and embrace their own well-being. Topics will focus on abilities that can transcend job roles and functions to prepare participants for an exciting but unknown future.
There will also be dynamic ways for participants to learn and engage including curated docent tours of the Tech Zone, Make Your Own (MYO) Wellness Campfire Experiences, Valuegraphics Workshop with 1:1 appointment, and a live data set collection, VR Immersion Experience and the Playground Solution Room.
Networking events will bring people together again face-to-face:
o Opening Night Celebration at Oracle Park takes place Tuesday, June 21 from 7-10 pm.
o President’s Dinner, honouring Brian Stevens, takes place at Hilton San Francisco Union Square on Wednesday, June 22 from 6-10 pm.
o Closing Night Celebration at San Francisco City Hall, Thursday, June 22 from 7-10 pm. Entertainment sponsor Caesars Entertainment and Host Sponsor SF Travel.
