Gorazd, you must know which the best meeting hotels are. We are looking for a hotel with a modern convention centre, exquisite cuisine and friendly staff for our event. They must surpass our expectations and, more importantly, enthral our attendees with their additional offer. It would be best if we test the hotel as hidden guests prior to the event.
Having received questions alike, we developed the project Hidden Congress Guest and certificate of excellence dubbed the Meetings Star fifteen years ago. We evaluate hotels for demanding international event organisers and on the intiative of our readers. Nonetheless, most hotels themselves wish to test their quality and adapt their offer to the demanding needs of event organisers.

Since the start of the evaluation, a mesmerising 472 hotels and 44 convention centres have been evaluated. Out of all evaluated hotels, 40,9% of them were certified.
With the help of the evaluation matrix for venues, we check 654 tangible evaluation criteria, divided into various categories. Among others, the hidden guest assesses first contact with the guest, general impression upon arrival, employee behaviour and numerous others.

The certificate of excellence, MEETINGS STAR, is divided into:
GOLD certificate – final score from 4.81 to 5.00
SILVER certificate – final score from 4.61 to 4.80
BRONZE certificate – final score from 4.41 to 4.60
