NEED TO KNOW 2022

Situated just a short walk from Messe Frankfurt, FIFTY HEIGHTS opened its doors to the general public in Spring 2021. The city’s highest event location is able to seat up to 149 conference guests on some 220 square metres of open-plan event space while offering 180° panorama views of the Frankfurt skyline. Meetings and workshops may be held at similar heights at memox.world, located near downtown Frankfurt’s Taunusanlage. In keeping with the spirit of “New Work”, individual spatial layouts are developed together with each client to perfectly suit the event format and promote participant productivity. Frankfurt’s many new rooftop bars are the ideal locations for a relaxing end to a busy day at the office, trade fair or event. Whether you’re at the Blasky Rooftop Bar, the Chicago Roof near the fairgrounds or the Skybar in the Ruby Louise Hotel, the best way to admire Frankfurt’s skyline at sunset is with a delicious cocktail in your hand.

BEST INCENTIVE IDEA

Raft construction and trip

Tackle together and set sail with your own creation – when building a raft, everyone contributes their strengths. The creative team event can be held at various lakes south of Frankfurt and welds every company community together. Team spirit is very important when you and your colleagues build a fully functional raft out of boards, logs and other floating objects. All materials used are of course environmentally friendly and 100% reused!

BEST KEPT SECRETS

Opened in April 2022, the Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM) contributes to Frankfurt’s wide variety of cultures. In a unique combination of museum and club, the MOMEM takes its visitors on a journey from the beginning to the future of modern electronic music that has shaped cultural history and still keeps on doing so.

PERFECT GIFT

Snuggle Jug: Apple wine has been Frankfurt’s most popular beverage for over 250 years. Locals traditionally enjoy it at the city’s rustic apple wine pubs, where it is served in an earthenware jug, commonly referred to as the “bembel”, and drunk from a special ribbed glass, known as the “gerippte”. Over the years, the grey jug with its blue design has become the premier symbol of Frankfurt’s time-honoured apple wine culture. Whether sitting in a cosy street café in Frankfurt’s new old town, relaxing on the lawns along the River Main or snoozing on the flight home – those who love Frankfurt are sure to love resting their head on a cuddly piece of Frankfurt history.
