If you are seeking an immersive experience that’s far from the usual trade show encounter, head to New Zealand’s stand at IMEX America.

Take a peek at New Zealand’s fresh new global campaign ‘If You Seek’ through Oculus googles that create a 180-degree immersive experience.

Put yourself in the shoes of your delegates and explore the depths of the stunning Lost World cave in Waitomo or enjoy a mouth-watering glimpse of New Zealand’s top cuisine. Experience the treasures of Hobbiton or admire the skill and storytelling in Māori carving.

Tourism New Zealand General Manager New Zealand & Business Events, Bjoern Spreitzer says: “We’re extending an invitation to event organisers who seek more through extraordinary travel.

“New Zealand has the world-class venues, aspirational activities, and air connectivity from North America to ensure a successful business event. But New Zealand also rewards those who come looking for deeper, more meaningful connections. If you seek knowledge and transformational experiences, choose New Zealand for your next business event.”

Guests to the stand will also receive a unique welcome, with the chance to create their own printed version of their pepeha, a traditional structured introduction in Māori culture that connects people to place.

Spreitzer says: “We can’t wait to update the world on what’s new in New Zealand through our in-person appointment streams and on-stand presentations, from our amazing incentive activities to our three new, purpose-built convention centres.

“Auckland Airport is now the Australasian airport with the most non-stop connections to the United States and Canada, meaning your next event in New Zealand is closer than you think.”

Partners on stand will include Tourism New Zealand, flagship carrier Air New Zealand, as well as Auckland Convention Bureau, Queenstown Convention Bureau, and Business Events Wellington.

Representatives from the new convention centres Tākina in Wellington and the NZICC (New Zealand International Convention Centre) in Auckland will be present, along with Accor Hotels and Business Events Industry Aotearoa.

Incentive inspiration will be showcased via Alpine Luxury Tours, ID New Zealand, Vokali, and Liberty International.

New Zealand will be situated at IMEX America at booth E1507.
