The nineteenth Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day will take place on 27 September, offering participants more than forty different events and ending with the award ceremony for the winners of the Tallinn Business Awards.

This year’s Entrepreneurship Day programme and content have been developed in cooperation with entrepreneurs and are free of charge for all participants.

According to Tallinn Deputy Mayor Joosep Vimm, there will be exciting content for participants with various interests. “When we were putting together the programme, we asked the entrepreneurs to come up with themes, and the city’s Entrepreneurship Centre selected the most exciting ones,” said Joosep Vimm. “This way, we have got a diverse programme where the topics on stage are really wall-to-wall – from concrete printers to value-based branding.”

Tallinn Business Awards on 28 September

The day after the Entrepreneurship Day conference, on 28 September, Tallinn’s best entrepreneurs and business developers will traditionally be recognised and this year’s Tallinn Business Awards will be presented. Traditionally, the best companies are selected from those that have achieved something remarkable in their field during the year, such as creating the most jobs, making their innovative and environmentally friendly idea a reality, launching an exciting product or service, adding value to society or changing the world through a collaborative project.

The Entrepreneurship Day programme is packed and varied. During the conference, there will be discussions on whether a green transition will save the tourism business, as well as how to achieve success faster through customer value. There will also be stories on how a few mistakes can lead to success and how artificial intelligence can help businesses make better management decisions in the future. There will be inspirational talks on how to start a business, and the Innovation Capability Masterclass will talk about how to implement your innovative ideas successfully and sustainably. The seminars will be held in both Estonian and Russian, and some of them will be available online.

In addition to the seven main categories, special prizes for the year’s best-applied research will be awarded on Entrepreneurship Day in cooperation with Tallinn University of Technology, Tallinn University, the Estonian Academy of Arts and the Estonian University of Applied Sciences Foundation.

The programme starts on Tuesday 27 September at 9.30 in the morning and ends at 17.00 in the evening. Participation is free of charge. The programme can be found at ettevotluspaev.tallinn.ee.
