A New Generation of Lifestyle Hotels

It is the premiere for WorldHotels™ Crafted Collection in Germany: b’mine Frankfurt Airport, which recently opened this spring, is Germany’s first hotel in the collection for exclusive design hotels, which is part of the BWH Hotel Group brand portfolio. The twelve-story hotel in the Gateway Gardens at Frankfurt’s international airport offers 241 rooms, twelve function rooms and a meeting area and, with its carlofts, an extraordinary first-class experience.

WorldHotels™ Crafted celebrates its premiere in Germany: b’mine Frankfurt Airport, which opened just this spring with an extraordinary concept, is the first member of the collection for exclusive design hotels in the country.

“With this great property, we celebrate the market entry of our collection of very exquisite, design-affine hotels within the BWH Hotel Group and WorldHotels brand family here in Germany: WorldHotels Crafted. We are very proud and happy to welcome the b’mine Frankfurt Airport with its exceptional concept and high-class facilities to our portfolio,” said Marcus Smola, CEO of BWH Hotel Group Central Europe GmbH headquartered in Eschborn.

“The b’mine at Frankfurt International Airport provides a special experience when travelling – it combines architecture, design and innovation in a very unusual way and, with its special car lifts, offers technology that is so far unique in the world and that leaves guests in awe. At the same time, it conveys generosity, high quality and individuality, so it fits perfectly with the design-savvy collection of WorldHotels Crafted,” said Alexander Teichert, Director Hotel Development at BWH Hotel Group Central Europe GmbH. “We look forward to working with Matthias Beinlich and his team to raise the profile of this newest and very exceptional hotel in Frankfurt, both nationally and globally.”

b’mine Frankfurt Airport: Extraordinary on All Levels

With its patented carloft concept of car lifts and associated carloft rooms, the lifestyle hotel has an unusual offering and highlight that is visible from afar thanks to a lighting concept in different colours: elevators transport vehicles in front of the 40 carlofts from the first to the tenth floor, so that guests can spend the night right next to their own cars. The b’mine Frankfurt Airport, which has been nominated for the German Design Award 2020 and has just won the Arch Design Award 2022 in the Interior Design category, is located in the quarter of the so-called Gateway Gardens, about one kilometre from Frankfurt Airport.

It has 241 rooms, including 160 Smart Rooms, 40 Smart Doubles, 40 “CarLofts” distributed on the first to tenth floors, and a Skyloft on the top floor. All rooms impress with an interior design that conveys a special feel-good atmosphere by means of a well-thought-out cocooning concept. In collaboration with the Berlin artist Pola Braendle, a distinctive ambience has been created in all areas, from the foyer to the rooms as well as in the event area and right up to the restaurant: Collages and décollages by the internationally renowned artist are an integral part of the design of all b’mine hotels. Another highlight is the entire event area of b’mine Frankfurt Airport: The hotel has a total of eleven event rooms for up to 250 people, most of which are located on the eleventh floor of the building with optional views of the Frankfurt skyline or the airport’s runway. Outstanding is the extreme load capacity of four tons in the main event space, which for example allows events and presentations including cars and more kinds of vehicles.

Those who want to go all the way to the top can visit the hotel’s own restaurant “THE ROOF – Restaurant, Bar & Lounge” on the twelfth floor. There, minimalist and neat meets colorful and chaotic, and guests experience a fusion cuisine, an unusual combination of different culinary arts from around the world. The 170-square-meter rooftop terrace offers an impressive view of the airport apron. Guests can also enjoy the “b’daily – Coffee Shop & Bistro” with terrace on the first floor, as well as a wellness and fitness area with Finnish sauna, relaxation room and fitness training equipment from Technogym.
