Greet Wien City Nord
Accor is continuing to develop its eco-responsible greet brand with the opening of greet Wien City Nord in the Austrian capital in February 2023.
Located in the 21st district of the Austrian capital, the main theme of this 96-room hotel is the cult Viennese workers’ garden. The hotel operator’s offer includes an open common area with a restaurant, bar, work corner and lounge area.
The colours are in keeping with the Viennese workers’ garden, in muted greens and blues and warm earth tones, from umber to ochre. The materials used are as natural as possible and the pictorial motifs are also borrowed from nature.
For the design of the hotel, many objects related to the allotment garden or the trendy theme of “urban gardening” are diverted, recycled or transformed. For example, wheelbarrows are transformed into lounge chairs or gardening tools such as spades, rakes, pruning shears and watering cans are transformed into decorative elements.
The greet Wien City Nord concept, therefore, includes not only rooms with individual accents, but also communal areas used by all guests: The breakfast area and restaurant, which is both a meeting place and a place to work, the relaxation area with bar and the Communal Table with a Second Chance shop.
The greet Wien City Nord marks the expansion of the young brand after several openings in France and Germany. The franchise partner of this new hotel is the hotel operator Tristar Group.
