The Union of International Associations recently released their Survey on International Meetings Issues – 2022 Report.
In 2022 the Union of International Associations undertook its tenth large-scale survey on issues encountered by international organisations and associations when holding meetings. This year the questions were again adjusted to focus on the ongoing impact of the pandemic on association meetings activity.
The questionnaire was in English, French and Spanish and comprised simple yes/no and multiple-choice questions. The closing section of the report features additional comments offered by the associations on issues related to organizing international conferences under pandemic conditions.
The 2022 survey follows surveys undertaken on behalf of UIA’s Associate Members in 1985, 1993, 2002, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2018, and 2021.
The UIA, founded in 1907 in Brussels, is the world’s oldest and largest source of information on global civil society. UIA collects, hosts and provides up-to-date, reliable information on global civil society and maintains the most comprehensive source of information on international associations, their activities and concerns, and their meetings activities.
