Prague Convention Bureau in cooperation with the CzechTourism agency welcomed to Prague a fam trip for a group of hosted buyers from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. The fam trip took place between March 19 and 23.
A group of 14 hosted buyers visited Prague hotels, venues and sights, between March 19 and 21, and then moved to explore other Czech regions. During the Prague tour, several incentive programmes were prepared for them to better know the city, including the boat trip and historical tram ride. During a networking dinner, the hosted buyers had a chance to meet representatives of the local service providers.
Several venues and service providers took the time to show what Prague offers, namely: hotels Almanac X, Andaz Prague, Hilton Prague, and Hilton Prague Old Town, venues of Strahov Monastery and Library, Lobkowicz Palace, Museum of Slivovice, Hard Rock Café, SmetanaQ, Gabriel Loci, and Sacre Coeur, and PCO and DMCs companies AIM Group International, Time Change, and Senator Meetings & Incentives.
An array of international events hosted in Prague
Among numerous events hosted in Prague, one of the most recent and renowned conferences was The Meetings Space B2B Forum. The Forum was founded in 2012 as a platform for senior European event organizers who, thanks to the forum, can meet representatives of convention bureaus and destination companies, congress and social venues and suppliers of various services linked to the meeting industry. The Prague edition of the forum took place from 23 to 25 February and welcomed 82 buyers and 146 suppliers from all over Europe.
