The best of the best between Venice and Baku and Moscow and Istanbul

“Thirteen years ago, we started preparing destination guides that were based on our own methodology called the Meeting Experience Index. Back then, nobody thought that our methodology would become such an important reference point for meeting planners. 13 years and over 120 evaluated destinations later, we are standing here. To honor the winners. And to see who is the best in the region of New Europe in 2022. Or, as I like to say, the best of the best between Venice and Baku and Moscow and Istanbul. I am extremely proud that the Meetings Star award is setting quality standards in the industry and is being recognised on an international scale. It has become a sort of Michelin Guide of the meetings industry.” said Gorazd Čad, founder of the Meetings Star methodology at this year’s gala award ceremony in Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana.

This post is dedicated to the winners. The winning destinations, hotels, venues, and meeting professionals, are the best ambassadors of their countries and deserve recognition for their exceptional results. It is our honor to congratulate them on behalf of the team behind the project.
