A new business and wellness hotel in Zagreb

The new hotel in Zagreb, located in the western part of the city – Jankomir, was officially opened in early April. The former Hotel Holiday was transformed into the four-star Grand Hotel Zagreb. The hotel was renovated from top to bottom at an estimated cost of 15 million euros, from the walls, interior design and rooms to the complete redesign of the facade, and it covers 14.900 square meters. The hotel’s design combines functionality and elegance to provide its visitors with the best vacation experience possible while also serving as a perfect destination for corporate meetings, weddings, and other events throughout the year.

Congress halls and meeting rooms for various events

The Grand Hotel Zagreb’s multi-purpose halls are suitable for organizing weddings and other festive celebrations. Access to the halls is also feasible via an individual entrance, and there is a separate bar and checkroom in the meeting space’s lobby. Halls and restaurants that bear the names of Zagreb parks reflect the city’s atmosphere. Zrinjevac is the smallest hall with 115 square meters and can accommodate up to 80 people in theatre style. Despite its small size, the hall appears bigger due to a number of windows on one side illuminating the room with daylight.

Additionally, there is the 315 m2 restaurant/hall Maksimir, which can seat up to 80 people in theatre style and the 421 m2 hall Bundek, which can seat up to 120 people in theatre and up to 200 people in banquet style. Jarun Hall, the largest hall of the Grand Hotel Zagreb, can accommodate up to 200 guests for a banquet and up to 150 guests in a theatre setup due to its division into multiple sections and levels.

Furthermore, the hotel offers three smaller conference rooms with natural light that range in size from 25 to 107 m2 and may accommodate 10 to 40 people.

One of Zagreb’s largest wellness oases

The hotel contains 159 modern rooms and 4 stunning suites. However, the 800 square meters wellness area, which is one of the largest in Zagreb, is unquestionably the main attraction. The hotel’s relaxing wellness area includes a heated indoor pool, a children’s pool, a whirlpool, four diverse types of saunas, a tepidarium, an ice fountain, salt rooms and float suites. Another highlight is a pressure chamber for a revitalizing experience, which should be utilized only under expert supervision and on the advice of a doctor. A relaxation zone and various massages are also offered.
